Alone again in America

It is an undeniable fact that today in our nation once again Black Americans are in peril and targeted by our government .

Our constitution sanctioned slavery and defined Black Americans as fractional human beings all of which were enforced by our government and society as well.

Yet despite this truly horrific state of reality for Black Americans , We will defend ourselves by any means necessary.

Black Americans have been patriots and allies to many Americans including those who are wavering now as We confront government edicts that seek to demonize and diminish us.

We created the Civil Rights Movement in America which benefited women and minorities as well as White men so many of our allies have forgotten this fact 

We made many ethnicities wealthy and prosperous often at our expense and economic development and growth in our communities 

We have embraced religious beliefs that were not ours and We have been ugly victims of not only a domestic Holocaust but government violence 

Black Americans in our own country have confronted every twisted iteration of indecency and inhumanity 

So here We are again in peril in our own country by our government and others including allies that have betrayed us and those that remain on the sidelines observing our ordeals and not doing anything to protect us or assist us 

We will once again have to Come for Us no one else will 

Privileged People

Observing Columbia and other universities surrendering to intimidation and extortion at the expense of DEI and Academic Freedom is outrageous.

Women students on college campuses are more at risk than any religious collective at Columbia and other schools

The overwhelming majority of Jews in America self identify as White , in the Jewish diaspora many Jews are Black and of color

There has never been an epidemic of antisemitism in America anywhere near the racial racism Black Americans have encountered or centuries in America 

The major Jewish  organizations  in America  are only interested in White Jews of course these organizations don’t give a fuck about Non-White Jews nor DEI

I am not leaving

Like millions of other Americans in the Trump 2.0 Era of American in 2025 especially after the recent weeks of endless Executive Orders and chaos in the Federal Government 

I have contemplated leaving America and moving to Portugal , Spain, Mexico, UK, and even Australia of course 🙂

It was a ridiculous fantasy built on being in a class of Americans that can afford to leave the States.

I was using the latest  state of the art ‘run away’ checklist including currency exchange evaluators , healthcare abroad websites and every reading every travel guide site I could find or was recommended on TV

I have spent endless frantic hours researching and interviewing with family and friends who live abroad 

I then realized after watching my granddaughter’s latest video and spending time with family and friends, I am not going anywhere to live abroad, I have invested all of me into America and I am discarding all of my life based upon a lunatic and a change in government 

Besides being as patriotic and more so than any White American in my humble opinion  not only do I love my country which my ancestors , friends and family built and are still building  there is no place any on Earth that is like my life in the USA

So yes , I will be in full bloom of Resistance and Coexistence in the Trump 2.0 Regime of America 

I will continue to opine, counsel, advocate for as many Americans that can’t and I with many others will share my passion and concern for America

In the deep layers of my persona and being that I have experienced in my 7 decades of living in my country , I have always made a difference and I continue to make a difference here in the United States of America

Every Black , Minority and Women alumni of any university or college in Michigan should advise their schools that any shuttering of DEI programs will end any funding and donations from Black and Minority alumni accordingly

So here is where the country is under the Trump Regime 2.0, many in our country are reeling over the negative impact and effects of Trump especially in our Federal Government 

From force terminations without ‘cause’ to edicts that compel federal agencies to scale back Black History Month activities and eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Even in many states across the country there is similar government lawlessness.

Unfortunately the cowardice of many private corporations  have led to then voluntarily  removing and erasing  DEI initiatives as well.

What is also extremely destructive is states like Florida and others have now began to remove educational materials and curriculum from class rooms about the factual history of racism including segregation , racial preferences, racial privileges  and the history of White Supremacy in America 

Any and all efforts that seek to remove and ban books about America’s holocausts and the genocide of Native Americans and oppression of Black Americans, Women and other minorities must be not only condemned but resisted by any means necessary

 Black Americans pay billions in taxes in America which are used to fund government services including our military

Black Americans owned America… Black Americans built America and continue to contribute to our nation’s existence

-Mobile units of volunteers funded by churches, fraternities and sororities to go into venues , off the grid locations and report on people living in ‘at risk locations’

-HO Associations that open up their club houses during extreme climate conditions for vulnerable families and people

This is difficult to acknowledge and accept but it is true observing the hollow and pathetic reactions across the spectrum to Trump’s racist attacks on DEI is demoralising 

There has been nothing of substance and significance by many people and organisations that have claimed to support an America that values EEO and Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all in defeating Trump’s racist attacks on DEI

Consider these ideas and activities . 

Trump’s second term is unfolding exactly the way he and his crew planned—through brute-force governance designed to overwhelm, disorient, and exhaust opposition. This isn’t just policy; it’s a deliberate attack on democracy. The strategy, cooked up by extremists like Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon, is to “flood the zone” with so many executive orders, firings, and legal fights that we struggle to keep up. They don’t care if what they’re doing is illegal, unconstitutional, or flat-out ridiculous. The point is to create chaos, tie up the courts, and move so fast that they reshape the country before we can mount a defense.

We can’t afford to be caught flat-footed. We have to be strategic, disciplined, and focused. That means not reacting to every fire they set but choosing our battles wisely and making sure our responses hit hard. Here’s how we fight back:

1. Lock in on Congress – That’s the Choke Point

Trump still needs Congress to move big pieces of his agenda. That’s where we apply pressure. We make it politically impossible for members of Congress—especially Republicans in swing districts—to stand with him. They need to feel heat at home, not just in DC.

Flood town halls, office visits, and public events. Show up, call out, and demand accountability. They need to know that siding with Trump will cost them.

State and local officials must be the firewall. Governors, attorneys general, and mayors can refuse to comply with unlawful orders. If we pressure them, they can block a lot of this at the ground level.

2. Weaponize Public Outrage – Make Them Feel It

Trump is banking on people tuning out. Don’t let them. His team wants to make this the new normal, but we have to keep exposing their tactics for what they are.

Corporate enablers need to be put on blast. Companies funding this administration need to feel the heat—boycotts, shareholder pressure, public shaming, all of it.

The media can’t be allowed to normalize this. Too many journalists still try to both-sides this mess. We have to be loud and clear: this is an authoritarian takeover, not just ‘politics as usual.’

3. Hit Back Legally – Flood the Courts Too

Every unconstitutional move needs to be challenged fast. Trump’s team is betting the courts will rubber-stamp his agenda. We need to slow them down at every step.

Block his judicial confirmations. If they try to pack the courts further, Senate Democrats must grind the process to a halt. No more easy confirmations.

Protect whistleblowers. Federal employees being purged for doing their jobs need legal protection and a platform to expose what’s happening.

4. Control the Narrative – Don’t Let the Lies Win

Social media must be flooded with facts, not just outrage. The right-wing propaganda machine is running at full speed. We need to counter it with the truth, over and over again.

Disaffected voters need to see a real alternative. A lot of people are exhausted by the dysfunction. We need to show them there’s a way forward beyond just opposing Trump.

5. Stay in the Fight – This is a Marathon, Not a Sprint

This isn’t going to be over in a few months. Trump’s strategy is to keep pushing until people give up—to outlast, outmaneuver, and wear down resistance. We can’t let that happen. The key is to stay disciplined, stay organized, and never let up.
