No Kings Protestors tell you why you are really out there marching….

Because the great white hope let you down. 

Because your life is worse than you ever anticipated in your wildest dreams. 

Because you been bamboozled and you been misled— like Malcolm X said. 

Oh, and black people aren’t staying home because “marching is not safe for us.”

That is what you all are telling yourselves. 

Y’ALL VOTED FOR A BLATANT WHITE SUPREMACIST.

We don’t want to join people who betray us so readily. 

We are not fucking marching with y’all— for real? 

And black folks don’t usually do performative shit. 

That’s y’all’s MO not ours. 

We are not marching or dressing in Handmaiden’s outfits or none of that Block  Party bullshit. 

Do you know why? 

We can’t do stuff for imagery. So people can pat us on the back. Because the black community has too much real shit riding on policy change. 

Y’all don’t. 

The next white guy that gets into office will restore your faith in government and make sure White America feels comfy wumfy again. 

The rollback on civil rights and diversity efforts will not be restored immediately. All of those hard won battles Trump reversed will have to be re-fought by another generation of black people. 

While you and your household will not feel a thing. Tsk tsk about all of those disenfranchised black voters. What a shame. 

So yeah, don’t want y’all to keep lying to yourselves that you are doing anything to benefit us.

No Kings for Thee

With grave reluctance, I attended a ‘No Kings Protest’  today and of course I could count on both of my hands the number of Black Folks in the audience 

I then decided since I was there to try to get on the speaker list, now for transparency and disclosure there were a few Black speakers ( 3) and all of them were ‘cum ba ya’ types

I identified myself as a BLM speaker and I would not be talking about Jesus , MLK or Slavery of course 

I was going to talk about how come the ‘No Kings’ protests were never in the ‘Hood’

I was not allowed to speak at which time , I decided to yell, scream and protest from the audience 

I enjoyed every single second and moment…. I don’t have a voice now as I post this comment 

When the protest ended masses of White folks wanted to meet and chat with me

I gave them my speaker engagement Fee:-)

I don’t expect there will ever be a ‘No Kings’ protest from a Black Venue anywhere in America 

 

The return of Negrophobia in the Trump Era of America 2026

Yet of late a new wave of contempt has reached the shores of Black America with Trump in our White House , this draft dodger, convicted felon and woman abuser has unleashed his hatred for Black Americans with attacks on DEI and prominent Black Americans in our military to public officials.

The Trump Regime seeks to remove every credentialed Black American in our government and civil society, soon he will add Black Americans on the ICE targets of Americans demanding our ‘papers’

Our Federal law enforcement agencies will once again under Trump’s  unlawful executive orders will become enforcers of racial discrimination and profiling of Black Americans in public and private venues in America.

In this retreat era of segregation  in America on the footprints of slavery, segregation, and the like for many Black folks in the nation we must  now confront the specter and culture of ‘Negrophobia’. It is a derivative pathology of racism not novel in substance just different in application and behavior.

Often ‘Negrophobia’ is a civil disdain hidden in a non verbal activity or a cloaked bigoted behavior absent the optics of raw prejudice. It has the distinct stench of racism but it lacks the venom and vulgar and virulent demeanor of hard core bigotry.

In the gentile terrains of an office environment or the mild contours of an restaurant or even in a plaid elevator gathering the presence of 'Negrophobia' is a reality that is far to often present in the space of Black folks and others( read whites and of late even other people of color). From the nostrils and optics of many Black folks often one feels that he or she is germ or some kind of disease that people seek to avoid when they are in our orbit and presence. We have become in many circles an inconvenient truth an interactive poster of crime and darkness.

Usually when ‘Negrophobia’ is in effect communication,dialogue and authentic displays of normalcy are absent. A surreal reality takes over and quite often the Black person in the equation is the odd person out. The presence of “Negrophobia" has always been a part of America's landscape it never leaves and it surfaces anywhere and anytime in all spaces annd places in our country.

White politicians of late besides the president  have become embolden with verbiage that incites racial angst. Media outlets fill the their platforms with racially charged violent crimes.The nation’s zeitgeist is packed with themes of a civil rights fatigued where the normal  'white majority'  is tired of the claims of victimhood and grievance from ‘those people’.

The personal toil and anguish of always being viewed as a threat and unworthy of respect and trust is creating havoc on the health of Black Americans. The specter of 'Negrophobia' has destroyed and shattered the internal texture of far too many  Black communities. Negrophobia augments the disconnect between Black students and their teachers, it has created record numbers of suspensions and expulsion in our public school system for Black students. The economic costs of this pathology is in the trillions of dollars from health care costs to abandoned urban cities.

The basic civility which is required for a civilized nation to operate is now in peril. The pervasiveness of Negrophobia is contaminating even other minorities now. Black Americans confront waves of Negrophobia from other minorities in America. It is disturbing but other minorities are engaged in displaying reservations and contempt towards Black Americans. This is truly a surreal state of existence in America when Black Americans now have to experience and confront Negrophobia from not only White America but from other people of color as well.

Negrophobia will destroy the very soul of our nation if we allow it to flourish and prosper unchecked. 

The Artistry of Politics

Politics are never righteous or based on principles, in fact there is no honor in ‘politics ‘because none is required to achieve an outcome or objective , they exist because of the nature of human beings and interactions between human beings

Politics have a broad definition and interpretation it has many iterations from art to negotiations of various perspectives both pro and con,there is no absolute rule that captures the root and essence of ‘politics’

The ‘politics’ of an issue or matter is not always about partisanship between various political parties or ideologies among diverse collectives, in fact when there are competing interests for opportunities and agendas in both the public and private sector there are the ‘politics’ of competing individuals and organizations and others as well

Return to Segregated America

 In the Trump Regime there is a deliberate agenda to revert to a segregated America in both the public and private sectors of America 

Trump’s executive orders/edicts are NOT laws but operate as instructions for our government bureaucracy 

These executive orders are subject to litigation and not the law of the land and therefore should be ignored by those in private industry 

Our Constitution does not allow for racism and unlawful government edicts and executive orders who promote racial segregation and discrimination against minorities in America

I welcome and look forward to our courts rejecting any and all attempts by Trump to make our government return to segregational policies and practices 

War at Home

America is in a War that has absolutely nothing to do with with our way of living. We are in a war not where

are interests are in peril or threaten .

The war in Iran has created by the will of an unstable individual the POTUS.

The POTUS is a clear and present danger to America and the world 

Black Americans/ Jewish-Americans

 The attack and the dismantling of DEI programs and related services and initiatives @ UM with major support by Jewish Organizations  and prominent Jewish-American leaders and individuals has created a truly disturbing  situation for Black Americans and Jewish Americans that may not ever be healed soon enough!

Black Americans have been allies of Jewish Americans for centuries in America, the nation’s most historical civil rights organization NAACP invited Jewish Americans to partner with its  founding .

Jewish-Americans have experienced a better life in America because of Black Americans and our advocacy for civil rights for all Americans especially minorities and women 

Black Americans specifically have suffered and experienced incredible acts of discrimination and oppression by being advocates for civil rights for All Americans 

Black Americans historical relationships with Jewish-Americans does not deserve the contempt and disregard for DEI by prominent Jewish groups @ UM nor in litigated matters in our courts.

The Jewish Diaspora is quite diverse with many Black Jews existing and living in America for centuries now

To observe Jewish-Americans supporting Trump’s Anti-DEI policies and Anti-Academic Freedom on our college and university venues is extremely troubling and outrageous 

I welcome a major change in the attitudes and behaviors that exist in Jewish-American venues towards Black Americans the levels and presence of racism and bigotry towards Black Americans is at a level that is unacceptable and will not be ignored, tolerated by Black Americans like myself and millions of Black Americans in America

Pawns for Exploiting

Black  Americans have always been useful pawns frequently inserted into a variety of situations for a variety of agendas 

White America has been one of our major handlers from using our labor for free as Slaves to scapegoats and collateral targets when  corporate interests can’t compete in the market place only then are Black Americans in the commercials and token folks in the board room

 There is abstract moments in our lives that elevate and enhance all of life and its bountiful beauty. We can diminish, defeat and silence the throws of evil, hate and negativity not by ignoring it but also by confronting and removing these forces from our lives

Diminished Media Coverage

The constant flow of hate continues to flood the world and it requires us to not to retreat or surrender to it

Trump’s war in Iran has unleashed more hate and violence all across the planet here in America as well 

Black Americans continue to be the most targeted group of hate crimes in America , media platforms frequently ignore this fact

-The overwhelming majority of people in our jails and prisons are Americans not immigrants nor foreigners 

-The most dangerous people in America are Americans not Migrants, Immigrants or foreigners 

-The majority of crimes in America are caused by Americans specifically White Americans not Non-Whites

-White Americans also commit more crimes than any other racial of ethnic group in America

-White Males lead the FBI Crime Index in a number of categories including serial killers, domestic terrorists, drug dealers , espionage, insurrectionists and other categories

-The  annual economic costs of crimes is in the billions of dollars including business losses , crime prevention costs  , insurance premiums and related expenses for equipment and surveillance services 

-One of the rarely discussed collateral crime expenditures are for health care , ambulance and hospital expenses including equipment and medical supplies and Rx costs 

-There are also major expenses for purchasing of guns and gun accessories as well as permits, and related devices

Taking stock ….

There is unlimited value in volunteering  and up one’s assistance in a variety of situations, the rewards are enormous for everyone 

What is often overlooked in this equation and experience is the importance of making sure before one engages in volunteering pursuits is to take stock in yourself before you give of yourself to others 

Far too often we aren’t conscious of ourselves and our shortcomings and this creates situations where one is not at their best when the engage in volunteering pursuits pursuits

Admission Segregation Returns

 Another wave of disparate treatment and diminished impact in our educational institutions is in play now on Black and Brown students in America during the Trump Era

Admission Segregation is back in our educational institutions 

The end of race-conscious college admissions, prompted by the 2023 Supreme Court ruling, has triggered a "cascade effect" across the U.S. higher education landscape, where highly qualified students of color are increasingly enrolling in less selective institutions rather than the most elite universities. 

This phenomenon has resulted in decreased diversity at top-tier schools while simultaneously increasing enrollment of underrepresented minorities at many state flagship and public universities. 

Elite universities will now retreat to thier segregated admission histories where Black and Brown  students were discriminated and excluded from being admitted 

The usual suspects aka White and some Asian students will now be the overwhelming demographic  of students at these elite universities

This is not acceptable and there must be foundational changes now in our elite universities regarding admissions of  Black and Brown students

The Racial Underdevelopment in White America

Black Americans have Civil Rights fatigue waiting on White America to evolve and mature on Race

Centuries of iterations of racial underdevelopment is not only tiresome but destructive to the progress and growth of our nation 

The continued shelf life of White privilege and entitlement and ignorance on RACE has to have an end.

The endless cycle of White America’s futility and inability to evolve on Race continues to contaminate our society

Holocaust Deniers

Once again I am being assailed by some White Jewish Americans , when I dare to invoke the Holocaust alongside  Slavery in America 

Far too many in the Jewish Diaspora believe that only Jews get to articulate what is a Holocaust . I don’t engage in victim hood contests nor will I genuflect to others seeking to restrain and silence my opinions on whatever .

Many Jewish people and leaders of Jewish organizations want to make the Holocaust an untouchable atrocity without context and when Black activists like me and others reject this narrative there is a unwarranted  attacks and defensive posturing which seeks to diminished our right define and characterize evil and hate.

Of course this defensive rhetoric is designed to deflect the reality of history and present day posturing of many Jews in their contempt for both Black Jews and Black Americans and how We articulate our experiences and encounters with Evil and Hate.

I will never tolerate nor accept any restraints or restrictions on how I express my opinions and perspectives on Hate and Evil,  this includes historical events and present day events as well

Selective Criticism

Recently I was involved in a discussion of individuals that were truly vile and depraved, of course Trump and Epstein were mentioned but was also quite notable was how many in the room wanted to quickly move on from Epstein.

I encountered this recurring theme often especially when the evil is centered on individuals of selective collectives, privileged and the entitlement in our society 

When I would beat down White racist hillbillies my Jewish comrades would never shy to trash them but when I inserted Madoff and his damage to organizations, pensioners etc there was not the same visceral and intense commendation 

Unfortunately , I have notice the same narrative with Epstein, Netanyahu, Trump, Kirk and a cast of others

Disturbing as well is the social, cultural and religious bias that is always looming in the background even in discussions of condemnation and criticism of evil individuals like the those I have noted ….

Baldwin for me is my icon muse, the thoughts that flow from his writings are breathtaking  as well as brilliant in the context of being Black in America.

I often feel I am in surreal racial bubble , when in fact none of life  in racial bubbles for Black folks is new at all .

Life in the 50’s  was not all that different in many respects  for Black Folks than this current Era in some respects on a variety of issues and concerns 

The current  interactions with America and ‘Whiteness’ in 2026 is not that transformative on certain issues in our society which is disturbing and Yet not defining nor defeating 

I am more in Baldwin’s camp certainly with regards to valuing the full nature of my character rather than just the experiences one has with a society that is inherently adverse to my existence 

Black Americans are far more expansive and evolved than just the personas  and trauma  of having survived slavery , jim crow , and contemporary race issues 

Grievance is certainly a critical and functioning aspect of being human.Yet for me now is resistance in many  endless iterations is what I have always strived for as an Activist, but I also understand its limitations  it can handcuff and handicap your personal development

Racist Law Enforcement Responses

 My activism over the past decades allowed me to interact with Federal, State and Local Enforcement Agencies which frequently involved Black Law Enforcement Officers 

Some were asswipes and frequently went out of their way to antagonize me I viewed many as modern day Slave Catchers and I reacted accordingly 

In America there is a deliberate strategic hierarchical level of police response to threats to communities and schools , churches , temples and mosques 

Of course Race is a factor as well as religion in the deployment of law enforcement responses to threats to specific  communities in our country 

Despite Black Americans being the # 1 targeted group of Hate Crimes in America , We rank behind White Jewish Americans in the hierarchy of Law Enforcement Deployment responses to targeted threats 

The history of law enforcement racism towards Black Americans is deplorable as is the racist hierarchy of responses to threats against Black American communities

The Deportation Agenda by ICE against Hispanics reflects this same racist response there is no ICE deployment on undocumented people in America from Europe and Canada as examples

Civil Disobedience???

 In certain situations where an ‘ act of injustice ‘ by government agents leads to the potential loss of innocent life and injury ‘civil disobedience’ is appropriate 

It is critical to understand context and in this situation sometimes allowing an ‘unlawful ‘ process where the loss of innocent lives is not at stake it is more effective to not engaged than inserting an act of ‘civil disobedience’

The courts frequently will dismiss matters where ‘due process’ and violation of the ‘rule of law’ will create dismissal of a case against a protester 

Protesters must be ‘armed’ with knowledge of the law in the context of the actions being committed and then act accordingly

My Favorite MLK Day Story

 My favorite true story on MLK Day, decades ago I was living in Altadena, Ca  during the Rodney King saga

I was protesting real hard and in your face against the LAPD and they started to chase down the protestors with tear gas etc

I was running so fast( I run extra fast when the po -po is chasing me) as I rounded a alley there was a White guy in a pick up truck and he said jump in the back.. I did just that and he drove about a mile away and he saved my Black ass from the LAPD

I will always remember this guy forever and always 

I know there are millions of White Americans who value Black Folks

My personal memory of MLK JR Holiday

 MLK JR holiday day takes me back to a bedtime tale that would make go to sleep and stop asking my parents’Why ‘ 

When MLK was assassinated the riots were so instructive for me , I noticed how my life and my community changed.. 

I got admitted to college, my father got a full time job, white folks moved out of the neighborhood and my family moved in to better housing

 What happened to the innovative and creative legal genius in our country? Where are the legal ideas and strategies that will allow people who have lived lawful and productive lives in America that are ‘undocumented ‘ and being targeted for deportation by ICE?

Where are our Congressional leaders and staffers that can create laws for our immigration judges for those deserving undocumented people to stay in America and secure lawful citizenship??

It is disturbing and unsettling that such legislation and strategic thinking is not being expressed in the areas of legally challenged immigration and cruel and unwarrranted deportations in America

Tide is changing

As I noted for weeks now the tide is changing against Trump and I expect Trump will retreat on a number of issues and his agenda

No Military in our Cities

Trump’s is threatening to insert the military into our cities and states because the citizens of America reject the ICE as cops in our states 

Our law enforcement operations across the country are far more effective and responsive than any NG or Federal Agents 

The New York Police Department has over 36,000 sworn officers ! There are only 20, 000 agents in ICE 

ICE did not exist until after 911

ICE is not a police force and simply not capable of policing operations 

Being undocumented is a civil offense not a criminal offense 

ICE should be shutdown ASAP

Defeating White Supremacy

Unfortunately Millions and Millions of White Folks worship and adore Trump when he articulates the anger and resentment of millions of White Folks who failed to keep White Supremacy alive and productive 

These same White Folks will never get over their being defeated by Black Americans in their pursuit of White Supremacy 

Defeating White Supremacy was not easy for Black America it created a backlash trajectory of hate and contempt for Black Americans that weren’t even born 

The legacy  of defeating hate and evil is not a calendar event or finale anniversary , in fact not celebrated with a holiday in America as well 

Today there is major concern and fragility over the continuation of the MLK Holiday as well

Democrat Rep. Shri Thanedar is making history by introducing legislation to dismantle ICE as a Federal Agency 

Finally a Congressional Leader that is making a difference it is awesome to observe Shri Thanedar is from Detroit !!!

Paramilitaries aka Law Enforcement Agencies

 Unfortunately many Americans view urban venues and its citizens as dangerous and lethal, this accounts for the paramilitary  gear and heavy handed approach to policing  plus coupled with deep racial prejudices it allows for the insertion of paramilitary gear and attitudes that support such policies 

The execution of Renee Good is extremely shocking because it is a White Women but for Black and Brown folks it is not in a real sense a newsflash 

Black Americans have been executed by Law enforcement forever in our country , We have receipts and historical nightmares 

The acceleration of Federal Forces into local communities is disturbing and warrants oversight by the states and Congress 

Join us to create strategies to defeat and end this development

 The way forward now in America in the Trump Era

Thoughts about ICE killing in Minnesota

The police  in America as well as the NG and other Law Enforcement Agencies have a history of collaborating with those that were against Civil Rights Protesters 

Law Enforcement agencies have never been neutral when the issue is about Civil Rights and Civil Liberties in fact just the opposite 

Of course when the protesters are Black and Non-White there is a diminished control of their actions and more violence against Protesters 

Witness how Trump and his Administration rushed to excuse and defend the killer Ice Agent

Now is the moment to intensify and accelerate protests against the Trump Regime 

The FBI now has taken over the investigation away fron the State of Minnesota Investigation 

This is now the Feds vs State and Trump is losing control with this FBI takeover of this investigation 

The unlawful killing of a White Woman with 3 children is the tipping point of the beginning of the end of the Trump Era in America 

There is no stopping the momentum now to end the Trump Era 

The ease in how the Trump and MAGA supporters discard the life of Renee Good is sickening 

It is disturbing observing how they scripted excuses to rationalize her death without even considering her humanity 

I have observed the killings of innocent Black Americans by law enforcement officers as routine and their lives diminished with ease observing this when the deceased is a White Women is equally disgusting and disturbing as well but also surprising 

I am convinced this killing will shock White Americans and begin the start of the end of the Trump Era in America

America 2026-Show Your Papers

Today in America depending it is a ‘Show me your papers’ environment 

Federal Law Enforcement agencies in particular are adversaries of the American people especially those who are of color and not MAGA

The Trump Administration is now the adversary of Americans especially those who that don’t share the views of MAGA or Trump 

The sovereignty of one’s citizenship is in peril now in America especially those who are not supporters of Trump or MAGA themes
