Living in an All American Neighborhood

Living in an all White neighborhood is fascinating on so many levels , when I walk the neighborhood I hear the voices of the indigenous and my ancestors , I am not alone 

Living in an all White neighborhood the birds , insects and squirrels remind me  I am not alone 

Living in an all White neighborhood those I meet and greet understand something has changed and that includes me

Living in an all White neighborhood the children I encounter smiles is affirmation they don’t care what I look like 

Living in an all White neighborhood is now no longer an all White neighborhood
