Activists need Luv

 Of late the Right and even Liberals have attacked Black Activists that seek to compensated  for their activism which has including threats on their lives and livelihood

For years Rosa Parks and other iconic Black Activists existed on basic survival mode without any independent income or support from literally millions of people who benefited from their activism 

I have always rejected the false narrative that activists must be meek and always sympathetic in our body of work with the oppressed in America 

I have always rejected the narrative that activists and artists must  experience suffering , despair and hard times to understand the reality of inequality and inequity in America 

Activists not only deserve to be compensated , rewarded and respected by the oppressed but Activists also need to challenge and condemn the backward attitudes and behaviors of the oppressed 

Everything is in play, nothing or no one  is given an pass or exemption from ending oppression and inhumanity in the marketplace. There are no safe harbors, venues, zip codes or people that are immune from my body of work 

I am an Activist… I am a Black Activist

My Tribute to America on its Birthday

 An Activist Tribute to  America 

For many moons I never celebrated July 4th in part because I never believed the nation celebrated me and my community. America often reflected the false narrative that July 4th was the providence of only White Americans 

Of course reality and facts never endorsed nor acknowledged this myth and false  script of patriotism.

America has never been a White Nation despite so much of our history and national experiences sought to pay homage to this false narrative 

Truth is I am a PATROIT, soaked in the passion of being free and imbued with the inalienable right to secure life , liberty and the pursuit of happiness for family, friends and others including myself.

Many observe only the hue of my skin without exploring the substance of my character. In fact I am one of those responders in America that come to the aid of those rejected and denied the awesome splendour of America 

I love the experiences of unity, pride and share accomplishments of my country. I never take for granted the food on my table, the heat in my home the incredible service of Americans that have healed my wounds and educated me while many are away from their families and homes 

Let it be known that I love America and I will never betray nor abandon my country when sometimes I feel it has abandoned me . I will never surrender to evil, hate and cynicism of unfinished expectations and hollow promises of pledges, rhetoric and misinformation 

I was made in Detroit,  born out of the reality of America that dreams do come true 

I am not cancelling America when I am a Black Activist/ Responder

I am not cancelling America when I advocate for its ideals to be extended for All Americans 

I am the best of America because I am a Black Activist/ Responder in America.

My project is in part a homage to the ‘Green Book’ which the Black Community developed and created to navigate the terrain of racism and bigotry in the South 

National Police Hub(c) is the most profound and progressive development in Police Reforms in America. It is a platform that educates, informs and delivers outcomes that matter in our Law Enforcement System in America 

National Police Hub(c) is a interactive web site that provides a RATING on Police Departments in America with analysis of police shootings to arrests to lawsuits, staffing, recruitment and related court rulings , studies and commentaries by leading activists and academia scholars

 Sen. Tim Scott believes being called a Uncle Tom is equivalent to being called a Nigger . He believes that centuries of White racism is erased once a Black Person is called an Uncle Tom

Sen. Tim Scott is the Negro Minstrel and an Uncle Tom because of racism in America caused by the same White Americans who called him a Nigger

Sen. Scott would prefer being called a Nigger

 Just had a fascinating dialogue with a liberal White professor on the issues surrounding the troubling trending spectrum and development of bigotry and contempt in liberal venues not conservative venues but liberal venues 

In a nut shell he articulated to me that White Liberals are tired of the constant focus on diversity and race in America and they are getting annoyed and tired of the fixation on Race now in America 

After letting him rant I offered my Big Ben Clock metaphor: 

There are 24 hours in a day and for 23 hours and 45 minutes America has been consumed with Whiteness in every possible situation in every possible iteration for centuries 

Black Americans now have  15 minutes to alter the very essence of this centuries old pathological nature of Whiteness in America 

Tic Toc   .. Tic Toc ... Tic Toc ...Tic Toc ....

The ‘press’ has the iconic stature of being affirmed with language imbedded in our US Constitution. It has played a truly profound role in the sovereignty of the USA....

It is also one of the most dangerous and destructive institutions in America as well. The media/press has been one of most racist institutions in America since the origins of our nation.....

The press has been a carrier of disinformation, propaganda on behalf of the US Government as well as both the private and public business sectors of America...

Our press has over its existence destroyed the social fabric of neighborhoods  and property values of Non White homeowners with reporting that demonized immigrants and minorities seeking to integrate segregated communities....

Media platforms in America have contributed to hijacking our elections with massive political advertising and the  checkbooks of politician’s lobbyists...

On topics involving the intersection of race and crime it has polluted discourse with the vile and decisive commentaries of twisted racist and sexist pundits ....

Today it is active in fermenting violence and distrust in our communities as the nation awaits the Floyd verdict. The press continues to allege White Americans are on edge and has all but scripted a violence driven reaction by Black Americans if the verdict is one of Not Guilty .....

The press is not worthy of its iconic status and stature in our US Constitution . The press of late in America is driven not by being guardians of freedom and related speech but by scripted propaganda, disinformation and fiction over facts...
