Black Americans input MIA on Russia

 Consider this …

Rarely is there ever a Black American in the media or on other platforms where our opinions on foreign policy is considered

The current saga with Russia and the Ukraine is a classic example of where our voices are not only MIA but not even considered

Historically this is a tradition of American politics during the Apartheid Era of South Africa there was never any conversations in our government about intervening in South America to end its oppression of its citizens and domination of neighbors nations

During the genocide in Rwanda then President Clinton refuse to even contemplate an intervention to save lives

NATO and similar global collaborations have never intervened in America to assist Black Americans during our centuries of oppression

Russians matter more to Americans than Africans, Asians, Mexicans, Eskimos there is a theme here and a reason

I see it .. Can U???

Hallow Journalism @ WAPO

The sovereignty of America is anchored in our Constitution, the principles contained within its text and core anchors the foundational structure of our nation. Liberty and the freedom of expression which are critical to a nation’s sovereignty and can’t exist without the role of a vibrant  press/media.

The founders were aware of the power and influence of the media/press by acknowledging the press in its core manifesto structure. The citizens of a sovereign nation are empowered by a principled and transparent unencumbered press/media without a curated scripted journalistic agenda.

The fundamental operation of our government requires the ability of a nation’s people to challenge the government and other institutions at every level, this is achieved and accomplished with a press/ media as an interactive inquiry driven institution not a tool or conduit for the prevailing political politics.

WAPO is one of those threshold critical press/media institutions in our nation primarily aided by being centered in the capital of the USA. For decades WAPO languished in tolerating and even affirming racial inequalities and disparities in America… For decades it published endless accounts of shameful reporting which marginalized communities of color.... For decades WAPO engaged in racist exclusionary hiring practices which included the composition of its BOD and Executive Suite.

WAPO with its underachieving and mediocre journalistic legacy has yet to come close to being the template the Constitution scripted for our nation. The paper has not been awarded any Pulitzer Awards in years.

WAPO has ignored the Orwellian aspects of governance instead of reporting on internecine partisan politics that threatens the essence of democracy from within our borders, WAPO is soaked in continuous coverage of a former failed and unstable president who was MIA in a pandemic. No foreign power is flooding our communities with whisper campaigns baked in disinformation and propaganda. Treason driven republican's policies are transparent and commonplace in every state legislature in America

Today our nation is facing a monumental crisis moment from within our borders. The press/media platforms like WAPO can’t continue to be impotent guardians of liberty and freedom.

Democracy dies in Darkness ……

Open Letter to Black Journalists:Whoopi

Open Letter to Black Journalists : Whoopi

It has been disturbing and disheartening observing Whoopi Goldberg being dragged and compelled to apologize for being candid and factual with her reasoned insights about the Holocaust.

Nothing Whoopi stated was fictional nor scripted disinformation or misinformation about the Holocaust. It has been extremely disturbing observing so many in America inserting credibility to Hitler and the Nazis’ analysis of race on the back of Whoopi and facts.

Equally disturbing and disheartening as well is the silence from the overwhelming majority of Black journalists in America, including many who are part of the Journal-isms Roundtable, to offer an analysis and commentary that informs and affirms Whoopi.

The plight of Black women in every sphere of life in America deserves to be discussed and written about on our media platforms, not just those stories about Black women seeking history on our SCOTUS or parenting in a pandemic, etc. etc.

The very few commentaries that have been authored by Black journalists don’t advance anything notable; a few have affirmed the majority media platforms that Whoopi was wrong in her views about the Holocaust and Jews. Another Black pundit simply babbled about the origins of race. Another prominent Black woman pundit echoed the rant that Whoopi was insensitive and then inserted CRT for some misplaced linkage rather than making sense or any substantive comments about Whoopi’s reasoned excursion down the Holocaust rabbit hole. Overall, it has been shameful observing so many notable Black journalists run for cover on this saga.

The absence of Black voices now with regard to Whoopi is unsettling and almost cowardly. Neither Hitler’s nor the Nazis’ perspectives about race are credible, now or then. There were millions of victims of the Holocaust who were not Jews. Whoopi ‘s opinion about the inhumanity of the Holocaust was on point.

The shredding by Jewish PC pundits and other civil rights organizations deserves to be rejected and challenged not only with reason but with facts, such as Judaism is not race , it is a religious belief system, and many Jews are quite diverse racially.

Whoopi did not insult, nor did her comments embrace the Holocaust . Whoopi did not declare that Hitler was a mensch nor that Golda Meir was a witch. Black Americans should never fear nor be threatened into silence or censorship in having an opinion on any subject matter. No collective in America is beyond approach and criticism, including Black Americans, Jewish Americans, Native Americans and others.

Black Americans and the nation deserve better than this act of MIA journalism and cowardice that has been exhibited by far too many Black journalists in America with respect to this topic.

Crime of Reporting Crime

 The Crime of Reporting Crime

Recently major media platforms continued to engage in exaggerated reporting of crime in America, this is a deliberate template of media platforms in America.

Curated agenda driven journalism with regards to reporting crime in America is contaminated with flawed data and underdeveloped analysis. The racial and political impacts and outcomes of this destructive journalism has destroyed the lives of millions of Americans and their communities.

The impact of this curated media bias and flawed analysis has been destructive not only for people the media targets with exaggerated reporting and analysis of crime, but it has significant social and economic consequences for every aspect and segment of America from police reforms to economic development of struggling communities in America.

Entire communities have been stained by the labels coined by media platforms, capital investments and infrastructure improvements are ignored by business when the narratives of crime are based in false equations and data analysis.

There has never been an objective documented crime wave in America nor an increase in any measurable metric that proves that citizens of America are in fear of daily threats and danger as a result of criminal acts.

The FBI Crime Index is based upon survey data by selected venues in America. Many major cities in America don’t report their crime data to the FBI as a result much of this data is not reliable nor reflective of any real time crime narratives in America.

Homicides are not automatically murders but the public at large has been programmed by both the media and law enforcement agencies to believe every homicide is of a criminal origin.

Stranger Danger is extremely rare in America, even in urban venues, most victims of violent crimes know their assailants from crimes of assaults to rape and homicides. One’s zip code has little to do with being a victim of a capital crimes. Crimes of passion aren’t influenced by a zip code.

Consider NYC with a population of over 8 million people last year there were 485 documented murders last year in NYC. It is extremely rare that murder happens in NYC of course the template of media platforms is to report and project murder as an epidemic in America especially in urban and poor communities

Rather than report the overwhelming majority of millions of Americans that not only don’t commit murder and also where the overwhelming majority don’t commit crimes. Media platforms in America engage in the polar opposite. Reasoned journalistic standards on the reporting and analysis of crime in America don’t exist.

Rather than develop and implement journalistic metrics that will enhance and give credibility to the reporting of crime, readers and the public are bludgeoned with exaggerated incidents of crimes especially murders which as I previously noted are not at any epidemic rate in America.

There has never been a ‘crime wave’ in America nor any documented increase in crime by any objective measurable metric. Fact remains majority of Americans are not in fear of daily criminal threats. Reality does not bite in this regard especially with regards to being a victim of a crime in America

The collateral damage of this curated journalism and media reporting is extremely dangerous especially when the specter of racism continues to exist in the politics of policing in America. Our politicians leverage these false narratives promoted in the media reporting on crime

The Crime of Reporting Crime is a daily pathological operation of journalism wherein tragically American is a victim of this crime

Americans deserve better from our media platforms
