Vaccines and Black Folks

As a Black Activist for over 5 decades in America , I will always speak truth to power regardless of race or politics

Regarding Black Americans and Covid -19 vaccines here and now in America

The overwhelming majority of Black Americans are not reluctant to take these vaccines

The media especially continues to send this racist messaging based solely on polls and racial assumptions

This destructive narrative insults the basic intelligence of Black Americans and our instinctive capacity to recognise the reality of lethal infections like Covid -19

This is America 2020 not America during the years of the Tuskegee Experiment on Black Americans

The fact remains Black Americans know that the worse adverse effects of a vaccine is not death yet death comes with lethal adverse infections of the Covid virus

Now is the time to demand by any and all means necessary the equitable distribution of these vaccines to Covid’s most vulnerable communities clearly Black America is one of these communities

BLM

Vaccines and Tuskegee

The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment was inhumane. The deception and treatment of its Black  patients was truly evil. Its impact on the moral and ethical implications of medical research in our society is profound

In reality as human beings, We have a moral and ethical duty to save and preserve our life and others.

The development and creation of the Covid-19 vaccines is nothing remotely like the horrific research done in the Tuskegee study which only used Black people to conduct experiments and research

Covid -19 has targeted the most vulnerable in our nation including a disproportionate health care calamity of infections and deaths for Black Americans with Covid-19

Black America has a moral and ethical duty to save and preserve our lives and others. History provides us with profound knowledge Yet we can’t allow it to handcuff our considerations in saving and preserving life in this pandemic

Confederacy and Slave Owning Presidents in America

The public domain in America is a profound space in our nation, this space is sacred in our nation, for most Americans the public domain is where the face of America is observed not only by its citizens but others from around the world. For centuries it has paid respect and tribute to America’s icons from presidents and inventors to social justice warriors.

Far too often the public domain is missing women, minorities and others who shaped America and its history, in truth many  public spaces in our nation  don’t capture the achievements of Non Whites and others. In fact many states today in America don’t have any public tributes and memorials or statues of Native Americans as well as Black and Brown heroes and heroines .

This betrayal of the public domain is often intentional and expressed to intimidate , discount and express contempt for the contributions to America by people of color and women. It is a public expression of exclusion and the affirmation of only the history of White Americans yet ignoring the genius and profound contributions of Non- Whites and Women of America.

The Confederacy memorials , street and building names do just that especially on the souls and humanity of Black Americans. Every memorial to the Confederacy erases the history of Black Americans while glorifying the very essence of the twisted Confederacy in our public domain.

The sheer volume of these Confederate statutes and the majestic stature of these monuments dictate and depict a state of worship and adoration for an America that would never respect the humanity of Black people in America.

Yet in the same breath so does the memorials ,  statues , buildings and street names of our presidents that owned and raped slaves. These offensive monuments don’t belong in the public domain any more than the Confederate tributes. In fact the hypocrisy of our presidents who owned slaves dwarfs that of any Confederate hero given the endless and hollow grand declarations of freedom, liberty and individual rights often articulated by these hypocritical presidents.

Apologists for these offensive presidential statutes hold no quarter nor standing when they proclaim the evil and racism of our presidents who owned and raped slaves deserve immunity and a pass because they were honorable figures and national heroes despite their twisted and inhumane legacies on Slavery. Many who deflect and make excuses for our slave owning presidents seek to make them deities and not subject to criticism and objective reviews and nor accountable for their moral deprivation.

Even now in America far too many want to sanitize their individual and collective inhumanity and engage in the worst of historical revisionist narratives. The script of racial amnesia in the portrayals of flawed human beings like our slave owning presidents is not worthy of being celebrated nor displayed in the public domain

Never too late to Right Wrongs

Remove them all ...

Considerations

When the racial grievance accountants complete their annual inventory of acts of bigotry, racism, disparate treatment etc towards Black Americans it will have to be inclusive and comprehensive

The debits and credits must include the behaviors and activities of immigrants and other minorities . White Americans certainly will have their own column on the ledger and the footnotes must include the self hate acts of Black Americans

I welcome the new age software that will provide individual audits , I know I will have some debits and credits

I pray my final audit will be in the Black:-)

Perspective

So many revelations and discoveries of late regarding the massive scope and depth of racism in America sometimes it staggers me ..

From the granular to its systemic and structural pervasiveness of the disease of racism, it is astounding how Black folks are so humane  in the abyss of such inhumane depravity.....

When I meet and observe my brothers and sisters I am in awe. What a majestic people with such incredible capacities to  forgive to live and let live.....

I am so proud of Black Americans... I admire all that you are and all that is you .. I know the smiles can’t comfort all the pains and wounds of living while Black in America......

I know every word nor story can heal the broken ones . I know this, I will forever reach out and give you all of my soul my brothers and sisters.....

I luv you Black America

BLM

Perspective

I have often demanded that White America elevate their level of empathy towards Black America. During this spring of protest in America it has required me to elevate my level of consciousness about White America.

I observe seas of American flags, endless statues, streets, buildings that revere White Americans.

America has been their promise land with endless opportunities to create reality from their dreams.

White Americans have experienced centuries of secured wealth and resources including access to the awesome geograpy that our beautiful and bountiful America has offered.

I acknowledge the angst and anxiety in White America when people like me and others seek to experience America in our quest to create reality with our dreams. We want legacies that reflects our names, images and footprints.

America is mine, my ancestors footprints created much of the bounty that White America has accumulated and worships

I don’t seek to take anything from White America. I live for those before me , those with me now and the futures of those I love

We hear you White America .... You need to hear us now

USA Police Department

Once again in our nation we are confronted with the reality of race and our police . In America of late this interaction has created discord and failed outcomes from massive arrests, riots, uprisings and even deaths to endless lawsuits and cities with massive budget mandates in funding their police departments. As a nation we have endured endless discussions, meetings, workshops, prayer meetings, riots, as well as numerous  DOJ investigations and even complaints to the United Nations. Americans are arming themselves with an array of guns and security devices . Many communities are hiding behind firewalls, gates and private security forces . Our police are experiencing fear and morale problems that have lead to slowdowns , blue days to  the outright failure by many police officers  to honor their oaths to protect and serve. We are in the midst of a law endorsement crisis and it grows daily.

The country  cannot continue to function and prosper with the current state of policing in our nation. The basic respect for law and order and the rule of law is being challenged in our streets, courtrooms and boardroom and family kitchens across the country.  America today is in a uncivil war between the police and communities of all colors and hues.  No longer do many Americans believe  our police seek to serve and protect. America is  coming apart at the seams and no amount of military equipment provided by the federal government nor another  DOJ investigation will bring this disconnect to an end.

The country needs a game changer an epic development which will usher in not only shock and awe but create a blueprint and a long overdue measured approach that will enhance the pursuits of life, liberty and happiness in any ever zip code and venue in America.  We need a National Police Department operating under a federal model with a uniform code of conduct , polices and protocols .

The nation deserves a standard of policing  that does not change depending on the zip code or the hue of skin of the police officer or the suspect . The citizens of America deserves a full array of superior best practices from recruiting police officers to protocols for the use of lethal force. We need best practice standards for training as well as evaluation performance , including the most effective paradigms that enhance crime prevention and investigations to strategies for effective crowd controls and homeland alerts and crisis

We should shutter very police department in the nation and replace it with a new operating system . Now is the time for a American Police Department which serves all Americans regardless of race, creed, and venue.

A National Police Department has the promise of bringing the benefits of economies of scale to cities, villages, hamlets drowning in the sea of red tape from funding police operations  to paying for massive lawsuits caused by incompetent and obsolete policing models. A singular police department  which can install recruiting standards and attend to the demands of unions is how to end the police crisis in our nation. A national blueprint based upon a template of justice and competence is ripe for launching today .

The specter of Justice in America is losing ground to the failed operating templates of our obsolete police departments  unable to evolve and keep up with America circa now

BLM

BLM

Considerations

I have always leverage data, stats, factual information especially in the context of being Black in America

The recent protests in America has altered my data driven analysis of Whites in America before the protests I had factored that 50% of Whites in America for a variety of reasons primarily race they were my adversaries and I would not be invited over their homes for a cocktail

Now after the protests and the overwhelming majority of Americans involved are White Americans, I have now factored in only 33% of White Americans are my adversaries

I look forward to an invite one day from a White American to quench my thirst now

BLM

Considerations

Defunding is political semantics nothing more nothing less. Black and Brown Americans are the most vulnerable communities when it comes to being victims of crimes . We demand effective policing in our communities

We need a synergy of protocols to re-engineer policing in America from financial reforms to inserting best practices and accountability metrics in the operations of police departments in America

The police reforms must include contract provisions that enforce personal liability provisions that make unlawful cops pay for damages of their victims to incentives to ‘snitch’ on bad cops

Police Union leaders also must have contractual accountability best practices as well including loss of salaries when disability claims increase within the ranks of the police they represent

Finally we cannot allow only the politicians to design how police departments should be re-engineered

Activists (me and others ) must be in the room during these negotiations and planning .

Resolve

I am spent , weary, exhausted, worn out. My state of consciousness will not filter, parse, analyze, engage, interactive , absorb , cycle any more news, articles, alerts , emails, texts, posted notes....

I don’t even want to take any calls, dispense, chat, mentor or even listen to anything remotely involving BLM. It has been in America since slavery.BLM will never stop mattering.

I am going off the grid and gather myself , I can’t give, take or adsorb anything more about BLM and its profound siren of humanity

When I return my lesson is a simple one on a personal and granular level my space , my personhood is going to make a difference one human being at a time

Considerations went Protesting

I have attended hundreds of protests over the years including KKK events been held in police custody many, many times

Some recommendations :

It is critical to attend these protests with others and partner with someone , never leave your partner nor astray to far from each other

Don’t get, smoke, drink , pill etc ...Things accelerate so quick it is critical to be aware and on point the entire time you are at a protest

If you are injured seek first aid ASAP!!!!

Always,Always, Always alert the cops and protest leaders if you observe weapons, fires, bombs and conversations that may trigger an assault/ destruction on the cops, buildings or others

The object is not about competing with the cops nor other protestors but staying on point and your mission

Yo

Black America this crisis however new in essence is not new in our history here in America

We have survived all manner of atrocities to our humanity in America from a domestic holocaust ( Slavery) to now these state sponsored executions under the color of law

We have also experienced various degrees of White Guilt and Remorse only to experience yet another wave of inhumanity

Therefore it is critical and incumbent upon our psychological being that we prepare ourselves for an array of reactions from White America

We must trust our ancestors footprints, our resolve and our genius once again as we navigate yet another perilous moment in America

Post Pandemic Era of America

It is critical that the underclass emerges during this pandemic with their own global personalities to lecture, pontificate and advise on the nature of society in the post pandemic era. Without this insight and paradigm of voices from the underclass which has suffered enormously from the pandemic the way forward during the post pandemic era will be diminished, compromised and ultimately once again driven by the elites and ‘haves’ I welcome our voices and those pushing forward with a new paradigm and blueprint for the future in the post pandemic era forthcoming

BLM

Considerations - The Pandemic Era in America

All men are created equal was a bold face lie in the Declaration of Independence . The very statement omits woman and of course was written only by selective White men for only selective White men

The Virus in America has the same characteristics. The  Virus impacts different people with different outcomes

In fact the inequities in the treatment of the Virus and the disparities in the economics of those impacted by the Virus is not in any measure driven by any equitable metric.

United We Stand is yet to be a antidote or state of immunity from the Virus

BLM

Considerations- The Pandemic Era in America

This is the key to Trump’s defeat in November that none of the publicised talking heads highlight , America needs me:-)

In America almost 50% of Americans don’t register to vote and vast segments of this collective have never voted!

Yet because of the clusterfuck Trump Regime this bandwidth of Americans will insert themselves into one of the threshold presidential elections in modern America history and vote against Trump

It is this profound act by this collective of Americans that will shatter the nonsensical chatter of the usual talking heads and alter the trajectory of America for decades

BLM

Considerations- The Pandemic Era in America

Trump and his enablers including some Negro apologists are trying to leverage Biden’s truth telling rant but they can’t get too much mileage because it will require Trump to prove up his support for Black Folks

Of course Trump has pure contempt for us from his comments about Black mothers being bitches to his constant smearing of Obama to his politics which seek to remove Obama healthcare in a pandemic to the most vulnerable victims which is Black Folks

Trump is toast in November and nothing he trys to do will change this destined outcome

BLM

Considerations - The Pandemic Era in America

It is amazing observing some in White America lecture to Black Americans on our reactions to Biden

Yet they are doing exactly what Biden did

White Privilege is a MOFO

Lol lol

BLM

Considerations- The Pandemic Era in America

Question: When the pandemic is over do the released prisoners have to return to prison?

BLM

Considerations - The Pandemic Era in America

Black Americans cannot be fragile now , our plate is full of massive concerns from the pandemic to economic woes and despair

I refuse to lose my center because Biden was truth telling as a White man in the Trump Era of America

We have and must continue to move forward and navigate around whatever insanity comes for our community

Biden is not my enemy .... Trump is..

BLM

Considerations - The Pandemic Era In America

I love how the Universe works ... Despite Trump’s stunt to release KK from prison ....KK is not going to vote for him nor are many if any Black voters after this pandemic and its rage in Black America

Virus-Thoughts at Large

Nursing Homes in the Pandemic:

I was afraid to read another sentence in this incredible, horrifying and life altering but spectacular Investigative reporting by The NY Times on Race and Nursing homes in America during this pandemic.

The surrender , tolerance and acceptance that Black life as a resident/patient in a nursing home during the pandemic was worthless and forgettable to the nursing home operators/owners and ultimately the government was shocking and extremely disturbing!

Every nursing home in America that has majority demographics of both Black residents and staff should be shuttered ASAP by state governments .

There should be immediate testing and removal of all patients in nursing homes  where the virus has left a body count.

Civil and Criminal lawsuits should be filed not just against the nursing homes but also any government agency that licensed nursing homes and had oversight.

I have never read such a ‘real time’ state of reporting that disclosed such inhumane conditions in any facility and setting providing healthcare services in America.

I hope every attorney general in every state of America reads this reporting and without any hesitation intervene in this killing field we call nursing homes in America

Every family that has a family member, relative , friend and employee of any nursing home in America should rush to that nursing home ASAP to check on the person before the Virus strikes!!

Virus- Thoughts at Large

Once the CDC and media platforms start publishing the disproportionate racial data about both deaths and infections vast bandwidths in White America became less compliant with the Virus safety protocols

The more data which isolates nursing homes, contact workers and race that intersect with Virus deaths expect more disregard and contempt from Americans towards these impacted bandwidths in America

In a perverse counter intuitive reality the more facts and knowledge don’t always create more positive outcomes

GD this Virus!!!!!

BLM

Virus- Thoughts at Large

I have no problem nor objections to selective regional reopening of business in states across the nation .

Facts and science dictate such a posture with on going PPE , Hospital and Safe Distance protocols. Data on Virus deaths must be uniform  and accurate is a death caused by the Virus or did the dead have the Virus????

This should not be a political partisanship issue. This is about the people of America in areas and regions of America

Workers returning to work, Nursing home residents and Prison inmates and guards, Military troops and civilian workers have to have priority in any return to work and reopening plans

Virus- Thoughts at Large

I was in the Post Office today and it was bumpin with seniors . Seniors were in full force with walkers , canes, bandages, scars, carts.

Some were alone, many with other seniors, plenty of grandchildren also was clinging to their grannies and grandpa’s

There was also anxiety and fear in the air the vibe was full of concern over the Virus. I know because I was there too as a Senior

BLM

Virus-Thoughts at Large

In America many realities are racialized from Crime to Economic status. I expected the same racial narrative with the Virus pandemic in America.

Our first responders when they are doctors and nurses are celebrated as heroes and heroines. Contact workers of color and their risks are diminished and often ignored in these parades and celebrations

It is unfolding daily the poor especially Black Americans are being designated as the Virus, by many in majority ( read White venues ).

There exists an underlying the myth of ‘United We Stand’ propaganda  growing in our nation. The  theme of ‘those people’ is once again undermining collective solidarity against the Virus

In this climate of the racialized Virus selective enforcement protocols already exist arrests instead of tickets are given to violaters of social distance protocols.

Media platforms constantly elevate stories of White families as able navigators during the Virus while ignoring the same in poor and Black families.

Selective religious groups are given priority treatment while White protestors in many states today are affirmed and validated as ‘freedom fighters’

The Virus has now been weaponized to inflict not only death to many but also to wage a civil war against many.

What happens when those are have been wrongfully weaponized become insurgents waging their own civil war ?

BLM

American Justice

Once justice is secured in the unlawful execution of another unarmed Black American in Georgia

I welcome legislation that sanctions and allows for criminal indictments against prosecutors and others in law enforcement that obstructed Justice in the pursuit of ‘due process’ for Black Americans in Hate Crimes of this nature

Our society can’t continue to ignore and dismiss the malfeasance and intentional failure of our officials in our Justice system towards Black Americans and others

BLM

Virus- Thoughts at Large

Coumo ‘s decision making in NY now does not look so breath taking and heroic now !!!!

Consider:

1) Subways.  The subways are filthy and the ventilation terrible , a petri dish for transmission of the virus.
What did he do? Cut the number of running cars in half, so all the medical staff workers and homeless and travelers from China can get all crammed together.
Just last week, they finally decided to sanitize the subway and get the homeless out.
CT NJ and NY have massive outbreaks, in areas served by the subway!
2) Cuomo approves policy of moving COVID patients INTO nursing homes. Borderline criminal negligence. Nursing homes deaths  skyrocket.
3) The demographics of the staff of nursing home employees and deaths don’t look like Cuomo perhaps reasons scan disclosures about staffing at nursing homes

Cuomo obsess about young people exercising outdoors.
Science says: outdoor transmission rare;  even Cuomo feigned surprise when it was shown 66% of NY cases are from those locked down at home!

Compare to Florida, with similar population as NY, but more elderly, that Governor sent the National Guard to lock down nursing homes

FL deaths: 1,800
NY deaths : 26,000

Virus- Thoughts At Large

Our Supreme Court is one of the most profound institutions in America it has been a beacon in the face of assaults on our liberties for centuries. To observe our present SCOTUS not hold oral arguments because of the risk of infection from the virus and then issue a ruling to sanction the election in Wisconsin is an outrageous act of hypocrisy and cowardice . Rather than secure the ‘general welfare’ of Americans pursuant to the express dictates of our constitution this Supreme Court has affirmed a death warrant for many Americans in Wisconsin especially Black voters by not postponement of this election BLM

Our government should fund or nationalize every hospital in America to service all of the healthcare costs to fight the Virus.

Our government has bailed out factories that make machines , weapons , military and Yet our government is not stepping up and funding every hospital in America to treat Americans with the Virus!

Virus -Thoughts at Large

Virus & Race Issues

Yes it is a topic that requires discussion of late especially in urban venues in America. There  is a twisted and nasty narrative which is inserting  race in this pandemic .

It encompasses race from the scapegoating of Chinese to Black folks living in cities like Detroit, Chicago, NYC, Philadelphia etc as having extreme rates of Virus contamination as compared to Whites in rural and suburban communities.

Some of the discourse includes an acknowledgment of economics and the historical aspect of economic inequities including jobs that don’t provide adequate sick leave for the working poor to housing venues which lack hospitals , healthcare facilities etc. Too much of the narrative is negative and divisive.

There are many  people living in urban venues whose life styles and cultural experiences are being targeted for the disproportionate rates of the Virus infections .

Of course many of these analysis are myopic and driven by the optics of bigotry and the absence of historical facts. For example most middle class Black folks living in suburbs will get the Virus because many still have deep extended families and relationships with their families in our urban ghettos that impact the community spread of the Virus.

Social distancing works but it requires a run way and calibration of time and reality to reach its maximum objectives.

We of course cannot be in denial that many people regardless of race will engage in self destructive behaviors including unwarranted social gatherings.

The Virus of course does not care about historical social realities of our nation and society. The Virus is truly an EEO proposition

B Safe wherever U R

BLM

Virus- Thoughts at Large

This is not the time for politics at any level of government to many lives are at risk

Governors who resist national safety protocols for the Virus pandemic are similar to those Governors who supported the racist legacy of ‘States Rights’

Every American with an address or shelter location should be given a federal check many Americans don’t file tax returns and are not on the government radar

Hotels, Motels, RV’s any and all buildings should be retrofitted for housing and medical facilities

Digital hand free Thermometers should be available in every public venue ( like Blood Pressure Machines in CVS) for public usage

This is not the time to engage in proprietary and privacy turf battles

BLM
Virus - Thoughts at large

We need data on the risks of infection based upon race , class and venue. We need to understand the social distancing is not an option for those whose work includes services that are intimate and involves‘touching’ people.

We need to recognize that the poor and racial minorities view ‘panic ‘ in a different context than the middle and upper classes. When one is living in hell on a daily basis the capacity to handle ‘panic’ is not unsettling.

Economic elitism is easy to see in America as we encounter the Virus .

BLM
Virus - Thoughts at Large

Panic situations for the poor and others in America bares a different coping perspective. It warrants our examination and respect. Navigating around endless urgencies and tribulations becomes an adaptable skillset with the poor. Quite often it subjects this bandwidth to ridicule when in fact it warrants acknowledgment and recognition. There is a brilliance and pragmatism in the genius of this collective of Americans that should be a template to model for all of us The poor in essence are subject matter experts on daily coping paradigms many of which involves situations of ‘panic ‘ and survival. The crude optics and orthodoxy of some choices that are difficult to comprehend for many Americans that don’t occupy these inconvenient spaces and places in our society. The presence of normalcy and even nobility exhibited by the poor in the presence of such hurricanes of inequities brings me to my knees B Safe America BLM

The Era of Disinformation, Fiction, Revisionism , Propaganda

Beware

These are perilous times in America  facts and truth confront the politics of Disinformation, Propaganda , Historical  Revisionists. America in many quarters is occupied by operatives that engaged in factual amnesia on purpose. These assaults on reality and truth have numerous conductors and architects from politicans to educators. These culprits are in every layer of academia from our public classrooms in our local school auditoriums to the lecture halls of our universities .These propagandists and revisionists  occupy the meeting halls of public buildings to the most powerful rooms in our state and federal offices.

In the private sector of America there is scripted artificial intelligence anchored by faux analytics coupled with the approval of lobbyists and publicists for government and elected officials. Reality is under assault by those wearing uniforms and embraced with powerful credentials and titles.

Intellectual pursuit and inquiries into boundary free reasoning are attacked as being unpatriotic in the arena of government and viewed as  blasphemy in the corridors of our religious terrains. In our educational venues our classroom texts are littered with scripted historical and  quasi scientific detours and questionable  curriculum.

Subject matter which chronicles slavery, genocide and our own domestic holocausts suffer from omission or commissioned doctored agenda driven by political correctness context and objectives. Academic Freedom is no longer consider the foundation of scholarship but is attacked by those who seek to silence minorities and activists.

Words matter in America more that anytime in our history. Agenda's driven by politicians that are in concert with White Nationalists flood the social networks and threads of our internet with regularity and mission driven objectives . Our media platforms are under severe duress from external forces hacking thier content to social network platforms trading in treason for a fee.

From daily scripts of Fake News populating our prime time media platforms to the publicists that supply our elected officials and bureaucrats with content and reality is no longer a given it has been replaced with artifical intelligence.

There is a crisis in America born out of the end of Facts. Who will be our first responders to this crisis?  Will it be our reporters, editors, teachers, writers, activists ?

FACTS MUST CONTINUE TO MATTER IN AMERICA(c)
