Many moons ago when I was much younger and foolish, I would attend KKK public rallies just to witness up close and personal the reality of Hate
Once I wanted to take my son with me but my wife was going to kick my arse ( of course she was the boss ) and my son stay at home to watch the Sesame Street
While I was at the protest/appearance , I encountered a sea of elderly White folks who were peacemakers and truly incredible human beings. I was blown away by their presence and sincerity to be honest I never met White folks like this ever!
Today we are in an extremely racialised environment and I am prepared for this environment but not just as a Black Man
I wrote this decades ago … I have matured but not my values and principles
