Today I finally purged my garage of my 3 decades of my activism from hundreds of publish articles and commentaries to hate letters and proposals, public speaking , radio interviews  including even and my own award winning cable TV show.

I was crazy as a Fuck sometimes but always on the money of course 🙂. I used FIOA requests often including seeking my FBI file, those fuckers hated me . 

Both the MSP and FBI had me on their oversight lists, every time the governor or politician came to the ‘D’they profiled me.

Once I was engaged in a protest at the JCC and a Black FBI whispered in my ear he wanted to kick my Black Ass, I told him  my Black ass was not going to get him promoted but fired!!

I wrote lots of references and support letters to lawyers and even enforcement agencies, when they were  lawful ! I penned letters to schools with reading lists. I wrote letters to HR departments and even pastors requesting them to give back some of the Sunday collections.  I loved it when folks got jobs and students , Those I mentored some even became scholars.

I discovered along the path and in and out of rabbit holes everything matters in the one ‘s life , there no accidents. We are here for each other. 

My motto was during my prime was a simple one … I was ‘Out  there for Here’

I was crying today but smiling my ass off when I was shredding all of this stuff

Living Via Absorption

So this is how I am experiencing life as I age out of existence. Life is so precious now that I seek to give it all of me and I take all of it .

I call a part of this experience ‘Living Absorption’ …

It is where I literally hug living things in nature like, trees ( Yep I am a tree hugger) to wrapping my arms , legs with leafs , to putting my feet in dirt and of course taking in measured doses of the sun, water splashing from standing in the Rain to putting my body into lakes, creeks, oceans. 

 I want to ‘believe’ by engaging in the Living Absorption’ these living beings I am sharing their aura and history. Some trees are old and many bodies of water are decades and decades old The days after my Birthday, I have began this exploration and journey… 

I will admit it is fascinating given all my life, I took so many things in nature for granted not any more Try it on .. . Try it Out…. Living Absorption

American Racism

There can never be an end to racism anywhere in the world, in fact racism is a human condition part of the landscape of humanity. 

Racism especially towards Black Americans and Non Whites continues to flourish in America, it remains a staple of many from politicians on the right to endless web sites and millions and millions and millions of individuals in America both wealthy and poor.

Partisan politics are soaked with campaigns and marketing that inserts endless messaging about the value of culture , economics and race all within the social context of politics. 

Depending of which political spectrum one is on Race has a factor in the Electoral calculation. Liberals, Conservatives, Libertarians, Independents all have a racial agenda .

The question is for the voter depending on their racial demographics which politicians will enhance their standing in America based upon their racial identity.

Americans and Racism a reality that continues in America 

‘All By Myself’

There is a state of mind articulated with this phrase ‘All By Myself’ which has created some wonderful and truly awesome outcomes. Without question there is powerful evidence that one’s belief in self can truly be transformative and rewarding.

The psychology of this personal Herculean declaration is often grounded in a belief that one can do it all without any support or assistance. While this may be true but it equally not be true.

There is unlimited strength in the belief in ‘self’,  Yet there is much more to ponder and consider when an individual empowers themselves with the potion and the ingredients of consciousness and constructive ‘selfishness’ in the objective to achieve a positive and rewarding outcomes. 

More than often such a mindset and pronouncement can create problems . Quite often such a belief is driven by one’s ego . I opine that a belief that is constructed in a willingness to share in a task creates an outcome with multiple outcomes for all that equals the power of ‘Myself’

This profound declaration has historical as well a cultural origins especially in America where the ‘individual ‘ and all of its pathologies is celebrated and worshipped. 

In truth the individual can’t do it alone… ‘We ‘ yields more outcomes than Me. I recommend the next time the challenge arises to achieve an outcome do consider We instead of Me.

Productive Electoral Decisions

The Black Electorate is evolving in the past far too often our votes would automatically go to a named recognition and the hue of a candidate rather than the merits of a candidate 

Politicians and their politics can no longer be the reason we elect them

It is critical that the Black Electorate not only have specific criteria for candidates but the candidates must demonstrate proven records of delivering outcomes that matters in our communities 

Candidates regardless of race, gender and partisan affiliation that produce  defined substantive outcomes and agendas will secure our votes

When the days required clocks and reasons to calibrate my living I would often turn inward to fill out the day as a tool to figure out my problems to decipher my day dreams

When my youth made me ignore clocks and the wisdom of others I tiptoed in the the aura of infinity when I was young and not in need of a mentor

Now my days required a calendar, my clocks tick without making noise, and my own opinion has lost its luster where do I go to get the wisdom to navigate this terrain that seems like an endless mirage but in truth is a hard vision of reality.

Those who shared and made me their proteges have left the canvass. Many have surrendered to the realities of lost memories, wounded bodies and the contemplation of their obituaries.

So here I am reaching out seeking a living tutorial to navigate these days where my mantra's are now dated and my advice no longer has the velocity of importance and the currency of relevance..

Banning Things

It is fashionable of late to elevate books as some supreme ingredient in the science of acquiring knowledge and the like, For many the banning of books is the death of education and the end of the soul of culture in a civil society 

Usually this inflated elevation of books is a required ritual in the spheres of academia, wealth and elite . Those in society that don’t get to have opinions of the subject of books are the same bandwidth of people the world never solicits their opinions about almost anything 

I protest and reject this regime of opinion and perspective. I rather champion the genius of shared gossip and conservation in fact. The life lessons that continue to yield substantive results are those I have experienced via discourse with others without reading a book.

Nothing in my library or books anywhere in the world written by the greatest writers of both non fiction and fictional classics will ever surpass or achieve the absolute genius I have accumulated from both gossip and conversation with others from every corner of the world.

Let’s elevate and worship these human classics which transport wisdom, power and love via words in authentic exchanges and dialogue 

Human interaction has no peer nothing in the world can replicate, duplicate nor will ever compete with the knowledge, intellect, genius of humanity

Sometimes I want to dress in armour to protect myself against the slings and arrows of fortune 

I seek to wear the fabric and textures of a human spirit that inspires the best in others when our encounters soaked the air with anxiety and despair 

Today I dress myself in the clothes of engagement.. I seek to glow in the spirit of joy and love
