Over the years Plane Ideas with the assistance of the police and the community and other interested shareholders, activists and educators created and developed a series of interactive and outcome based police and community engagement programs to enhance the interconnectivity between the public and the police.
We have created the following paradigms and strategies/Programs:
-On Demand Safe Harbors(c)
Police Stations as sanctuaries for citizens at risk, with user friendly assets from police safety tips, filing police reports, etc, etc
-Hood Eyes(c)
Programs that create dialogue and discourse between citizens and the police regarding potential ‘hot spots’ crime tips, threat information . Ex Criminal speaking topics on imprisonment, violence, gang recruitment , etc etc
-Community Cadets(c)
Program that takes in the youth of the community and makes them police cadets with uniforms and classes on safety, traffic ordinances, juvenile laws and including award ceremonies
-Gun Safety Programs
Program which teaches ‘Gun Safety’ including speakers from hospitals, funeral homes and law enforcement agencies
Plane Ideas will create these programs from the ground floor with participating police departments.
