Here is the concerned I have with the rhetoric and verbiage of ‘The Post Era of BLM’. Unfortunately of late in America this tag is also invoked by Black scholars, pundits and activists without consideration of its implications and trajectory .
From my vision this narrative is a double sword and I would rather history define the outcome of the BLM Movement.
Far too often Black folks are not only the instruments of our survival but also situations of our unfortunate destruction. These pundits, scholars and activists don’t have to inject any opinion or narrative that begins with the end of BLM.
We gossip aka We inform others that have no interest in our well being of our shortcomings and vulnerabilities DCC .
The words we share must create an endless treasure and bounty for the progress of our collective for tomorrow not a platform for our adversaries to impact our tomorrow.
Yes this verbiage may very well be an accurate and current description of the reality of BLM now but not a conclusive one.
Let’s continue to articulate and experience a world where our declaration the Black Matters becomes a given a custom, culture and tradition that has no end but is infinite .
We deserve a society that acknowledges and respects and values the truth that Black Lives Matter now and forever.
